The boat is supported on all sides by flexible vinyl tubing.

The tubing suspends the boat, and offers a small amount of compliance when needed. We've put over 50,000 miles on slings like this, and this system is gentle and secure.

All the steel components are yellow zinc plated for long-lasting weather resistance and dazzling good looks. The tubing is outdoor grade premium UV-resistant PVC.

 

We now offer two versions of our premium single rack:

The Race Rack for narrow racing shells.

The Rec Rack for wider open-water and recreational boats.

Note: Some racing shells (i.e. Van Dusen Advantage) are too wide to fit the narrow rack. Please contact us for application advice.

The 2" Round Length Tubes are all new:

• Twice as stiff as the original rectangular tubes.
• Lighter weight for less stress on your vehicle.
• End-mount hardware allows these slings to also be used on our Trailer Systems.

The bracket systems for this rack are totally new. There are now two options - one for T-Slot style cross-bars like the Thule Rapid Aero system.

Shown here is the T-Slot system. To install simply loosen the knobs, slide the bracket into your roof-rack's T-Slots, position, and tighten. Removal is even quicker.

 

Here's the clamp-style bracket that works with Thule rectangular or Yakima round cross-bars.

Just like the T-Slot Bracket, installation is a snap:

• Remove the snap-pin.
• Loosen the knobs to allow the brackets to slide.
• Place the rack on your vehicle, and position the brackets onto the roof rack cross-bars.
• Replace the snap pin, tighten the knobs, and you're on your way!

 

Tube Coupling Kits now available:

This delightfully overbuilt piece of hardware is a tube coupling kit for our length tubes. Tough stainless steel band clamps ensure no stiffeness reduction in the system, and safety-latched hitch-pins offer double-redundant failure protection.

This allows the length tubes to be broken down into 4 ft sections for easier shipping. UK and Down-Under customers: this one is for you!
